The history of
Dante & Treja
One day in 2014, this same community of knitters decided it was time to make their
dreams a reality. Soon thereafter, HAMPAJ was born for this purpose. HAMPAJ’s mission
was to find a way to share these dreams with people around the world, and this is what
gave life to Dante the elephant. And it is Dante, one of the two ambassadors of HAMPAJ,
who travels the world sharing the story and dreams of HAMPAJ and its community
of knitters in Peru.

Time passed and Dante grew up while traveling through Peru, collecting dreams that later became a beautiful collection.

It is said that the desire to find a friend, no
matter who that friend is, is a very strong
instinct. Dante felt it.
And during his adventures in Peru, Dante,
who until then had traveled alone, found

Suddenly a new dream appeared: to tell the
world about their community. Inseparable,
Dante and Treja grabbed their backpacks
and ventured to see the world.

These trips changed them. They made
many friends and visited places they had only
dreamed of.
